Yook Sungjae from BTOB and Jung Chae Yeon from DIA have both been cast in the upcoming drama "The Golden Spoon."

 



An upcoming drama adapted from "The Golden Spoon," which is from a webtoon. Together with Yook Sung Jae and Jung Chae Yeon, the cast will also include Yeonwoo (former member of the girl group, Momoland) and Lee Jong Won (from Hospital Playlist 2).


The drama will be directed by Song Hyun Wook, who's also the director of The beauty inside (2018), The King's Affection (2021), Another Miss Oh (2016), My Introverted Boss (2017), and more.


The Golden Spoon is a story of Seung Cheon (Yook Sung Jae) obtains a magical spoon that allows him to trade lives with his wealthy best friend, he believes it is a no-brainer. But life-altering decisions are usually accompanied by uncertainty, and with only three opportunities to change his mind, Seung Cheon must determine which of his two possible futures is worth preserving.


Synopsis:


Lee Seung-Cheon (Yook Sung-Jae) is a senior in high school. His family is impoverished, and he despises living in poverty. He meets an elderly woman one day. "If you buy this gold spoon for $3 from me, you can change your parents. You'll eat three meals with this gold spoon with someone your age and at their house, and that person's parents will then become your parents," the elderly woman says.


Lee Seung-Cheon buys the gold spoon from the old woman and eats it three times in the home of his buddy Hwang Tae-Yong. Hwang Tae-father Yong's is the CEO of a huge corporation. Lee Seung-life Cheon's will soon alter.


The drama is expected to air this year, 2022.
