The upcoming Netflix drama "Black Knight" confirmed cast Kim Woo Bin, Esom, Kang Yoo Seok, and Song Seung Heon

 

The upcoming Netflix drama has confirmed its cast line-up, it includes  Kim Woo Bin, Esom, Kang Yoo Seok, and Song Seung Heon.

It tells the story of what happened when a famous knight 5-8 (Kim Woo Bin), who possesses extraordinary combat abilities, meets refugee April (Kang Yoo Seok), who aspires to be a night. 

The story set in 2071, when excessive air pollution makes it hard to exist without an oxygen breathing equipment. In a chaotic future where no one can exist without an oxygen respirator. 

Song Seung Heon will play the villain Ryu Seok, the sole heir to the business that dominates the world with oxygen as a weapon. The series is expected to release this year (2022).

Synopsis:

Set in the year 2071, where hazardous air pollution has destroyed the earth. Only roughly 1% of the population has survived, and there is now a distinct social hierarchy. People seldom leave their houses, and when they do, they use gas masks to protect themselves from the pollution. For their necessities, citizens heavily rely on parcel delivery services. Knights, who deliver items and also defend them from robbers, are known as delivery drivers.

Kim Woo-Bin (Knight 5-8) is a mythical knight. He's also very expert in physical combat. He chances to encounter a refugee named Sa-Wol (Kang You-Seok). Sa-Wol aspires to be a knight and looks up to Knight 5-8. Seol-A (Esom) is a Defense Intelligence Command officer. She rescued Sa-life Wol's and treats him as if he were a member of her family. Knight 5-8 assists Sa-Wol in his quest to become a knight.
