Anupam Tripathi is a South Korean actor who has starred in a number of TV shows and films. Many of his duties in Korean society are related to being a migrant worker. Ode to My Father was his first feature film credit. On Netflix's survival drama series Squid Game, he made his main cast debut as Ali Abdul.

This 32-year old actor born on November 2, 1988 in New Delhi, India. Tripathi came to South Korea in 2010 to study at Korea National University of Arts, and has been there since since. He mentioned that adapting to the cultural and linguistic differences was tough at first. He will complete his master's degree in acting in 2021.

During his third year of university, he began appearing in South Korean plays and advertisements. Ode to My Father was his first feature film credit (2014). In the play, which was chosen for the 36th Seoul Theater Festival, he played a tiny role as a bomb specialist fighting for Korean independence. He's since had tiny uncredited appearances in films like Space Sweepers (2021) and television shows like Hospital Playlist (2020).




Anupam Tripathi revealed in an interview that his father hailed from a middle-class Indian household who thought that Anupam should study, find a job, and make money. Anupam's father died in 2017. The actor said that his mother and brothers are proud of him after the success of Squid Game.
